FIESTA DE LA PLAYA
Our thanks to all of those who have made the 10th annual “Fiesta de la Playa” a memorable event for the kids. Gratitude goes out to Paul and Jesse Schlattmann who designed and donated t-shirts; Bob and Marla Poggioli who did everything from setting up tents and a volleyball court to barbecuing and serving homemade sorbet; Emily Devor & staff from Terrace Elementary for beach bags full of goodies. Additionally, David Gee who provided horseback rides on the beach. Lastly, other individuals that have made this event possible includes Leslie Smith, Teresa and David Valdez. ICE CREAM SOCIAL
We want to thank Marla Poggioli for her “acts of kindness”. Marla has a passion for cuisine and enjoys sharing her expertise. On her first visit to Casa de mi Familia she brought six gallons of ice cream and 2 large cans of chocolate and caramel syrup…. along with other toppings. She has a talent for turning ordinary ingredients into a fun and extraordinary culinary delight. The ice cream treat was “finger licking good”…thank you Marla!

You are welcome to join us on a visit to Casa de mi Familia which is located in Playas de Tijuana. We are just a few minutes past the US boarder at San Ysidro. Typically we have the opportunity to bring guests two Saturdays per month. For more information, contact us.
